Well ... there has been so much going on lately and I haven't found a few minutes to update on all that has been happening ... NY shower... Stephen's 30th birthday and a new furbaby addition .. HAPPY ... that will come later .. I promise but the news for today is ... WE GOT THE LIST FOR ROUND 2 PAPERWORK ... this brings us one step closer to a court date and bringing our boys home!
We only need to update 8 or so documents:
1) Guardian Letter
2) Employment Letters for both
3) Updated FBI fingerprint letter for both (this came yesterday)
4) Updated Bank of America Letters
5) Updated letter from Town of Newburgh
6) Updated Medical forms
7) Updated state verification letters for physicians
8) State verification letter for Social Workers
The good news is the judge wants all of this by September 18th so we have to get as much done by the end of next week as possible. Once we get everything done it will be sent to Russia for translation and then it will go to the judge in Ekaterinburgh ... then we should get a court date ... if we don't get it sooner!!
Keep your fingers crossed we are able to pull all of this together quickly .. oh and did I mention that the beginning of the semester starts with freshman move in on Saturday and classes on Monday ... Yikes .... it will be hectic!!!

Wow you have been busy!! I know you can get all this done ASAP. My fingers are crossed I hope you hear from the judge soon with a court date. Also Happy Birthday Stephen. Hoping you have the boys home by Halloween.

Yeah! That list sounds so familiar. I am excited for you that they asked for the updates. We got our list in November, right before THanksgiving and we got our travel date for late Jan! You're getting closer!
Fantastic - I hope those papers come easily (we'll be praying they do!) and that your are just a short ways away from your court date!
I hope you can pull all of this together quickly and bring your boys home soon!
Christine and Stephen, HUM!!!That list looks vaguely familar. HINT..Don't wait to send them on for translation...scan those puppies in and send them the WHFC to forward on to Russia as they come in. Then get them blessed (notarized/apostilled). She'll only need to verify her translation when the whole package arrives! It was good omen when the Judge gave us a date to reply by so hoping the same for you. Good luck, God bless and keep us posted.
